“Custom hinges for historic PCC trams”
On behalf of De Lijn Antwerp, Hinscha contributed to the development of a replacement door hinge for the historic PCC trams.
Given the considerable age of these PCC trams, the original hinges were no longer available. That’s why De Lijn Antwerp was in need of a reliable partner to replace these essential parts.
De Lijn Antwerp found that partner in Hinscha. Thanks to our technical expertise in custom solutions, we ensured that the old hinges were replaced with new ones, thereby significantly extending the lifespan of these trams.
